Twenty team members from the flagship Corinthia Palace Hotel travelled to Londonon a team-building exercise, with their partners and family members.

The group was hosted to a late lunch at the sister hotel – Corinthia London, Whitehall Place.

The highlight of the visit was a tour of Buckingham Palace organised through the Royal Household and also a private tour of Lambeth Palace, organised by the office of the Archbishop of Canterbury. Here they were treated to a tea break in the personal drawing room of Archbishop Justin Welby, the 105th Archbishop of Canterbury. The group was also given a private tour of Selfridge’s and visited one of West End’s productions – The Lion King – as well as the London Eye, Sky Garden, 02 Arena and Emirates Cable Car ride by night.

The idea came about by administration manager Marisa Xuereb in February this year, following various comments by team members, many of whom have been employed at the hotel for over 25 years.

Full approval and backing was given by David Woodward, who was general manager, followed up by support from Adrian Attard, who took the helm of the Palace in June this year.
