The Nicolò Isouard Philharmonic Society is uniting with the Valletta 2018 Foundation on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the death of Maltese composer Nicolò Isouard, to present a vocal and instrumental music concert devoted to the work of this composer.

The Nicolò Isouard Philharmonic Society is a living monument to this composer and is the only philharmonic society in Malta to be named and dedicated to a Maltese composer.

The band will play a variation of music composed by Isouard based on arrangements for the band by the society’s head, Mro Victor Zammit.

This concert, being held with the support of Valletta 2018, will be held tomorrow at St Paul’s Pro-Cathedral (Anglican Church) in Valletta. Entrance is free, but booking  on http://www.nicoloisouardmosta.org is recommended.
