Mazars recently launched a global initiative aimed at giving future workers an insight into what professional life looks like in an increasingly digital workplace.
The company’s new #InsideMyPhone campaign offers a way to experience what a ‘day-in-the-life’ of a Mazars employee is like – in the form of an interactive experience that participants can easily access on their mobile phones or laptops. The campaign ends in January, 2019. To try it, visit #InsideMyPhone by Mazars.
Participants earn badges as they experience how Mazars auditors complete tasks during their day. This includes how Mazars staff engage and collaborate with each other on digital platforms. Users who complete the journey have the chance to win a trip to Paris, New York, Shanghai, Mexico City or Casablanca.
Bridging the blockchain gap
Not everyone is using blockchain yet because it was not built for enterprise, according to Kostas Pantos, cloud solutions architect for Microsoft Greece, Cyprus and Malta.
Mr Pantos was speaking during his keynote presentation at the recent Delta Summit, of which Microsoft was one of the main sponsors.
In his presentation entitled ‘Cloud Computing Powered Blockchain’ Mr Pantos explained how companies and institutions looking to provide differentiated customer experiences often face an uphill battle managing manual multi-party work flows.
“Blockchain on Microsoft’s Azure platform means blockchain according to the customer’s terms, integrated with the business and provides secure off-chain integration ensuring security, confidentiality, scalability and compliance,” he said.
He also referred to a number of blockchain case studies handled by Microsoft and explained how through its Azure platform, Microsoft has helped global brands optimise their operations and achieve greater success.
He mentioned Singapore Airlines, which wanted to build its customer participation and loyalty by making it easier for customers to redeem their frequent-flyer rewards points with a first-of-its-kind blockchain initiative. The airline partnered with KPMG Digital Village and Microsoft to create a rewards programme that linked customers’ digital wallets to their KrisFlyer reward miles using blockchain.
