The Embassy of the Netherlands, together with Bicycle Advocacy Group and Transport Malta, will be organising Orange Bike Day tomorrow.

The aim is to draw attention to the role of cycling as a safe, fast and sustainable way of transportation.

Departing from the embassy in Ta’ Xbiex at 2pm, the cycling tour will travel to St Julian’s and back under the supervision of the police.

In hopes of creating a cycling sea of orange, the embassy will be providing orange T-shirts for all participating cyclists.

Although the embassy will not be providing bicycles for rent, Nextbike will do so for free for the bikeless looking to participate.

Dress code is strictly orange.

Orange Bike Day is being held tomorrow. The tour leaves the Dutch embassy in Ta’ Xbiex at 2pm. Registrations have to be made on https://www.bagmalta.org/orange-bike-day-registration-form .
