The Malta Postal Museum will be hosting an exhibition of large-scale photographic prints, entitled Territory, by French photographer Cyril Sancereau.

Sancereau specialises in architectural and landscape photography focusing (in this particular instance) his efforts on the impermanence and fragility of the landscape before him. Like an ‘artist walker’, his wanderings document fragments of territory which reveal a semi-abstract landscape, which in turn evoke the loss of any identifiable landmark. These images illustrate the dialogue between object and subject, between reality and its interpretation in the way we have come to inhabit the notion of place.

The exhibition is being launched at the Malta Postal Museum in Archbishop Street, Valletta tomorrow and will run until November 1.
