ANCILLERI. On October 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELA of Cospicua, aged 96, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Camilla, widow of her son Joseph, Betty, widow of Godwin, Lawrence and his wife Maria, Frank and his wife Maria and Noel and his wife Anna, her grandchildren, their respective spouses, her great-grandchildren, her sisters Maria and Theresa, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, at 1.15pm for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception collegiate church, Cospicua, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Polly, his daughter Marthese and her husband Charlie, and his son Joe, his sisters and brothers Laura, Mary, Tony, Phyllis, Doris, Helen, Joe and Victoria and their families, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, October 17, at 1.30pm, for St Joseph the Worker parish church, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations, instead of flowers, to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
ZAHRA. On October 16, ANGELO, widower of Josephine, chairman of the board of directors and administrator of Fondazzjoni Nazareth and former director of the manufacturing and services department within the Ministry of Public Works, Żejtun, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Always loved and remembered by his children Joseph and his wife Catherine, Miriam and her husband Leo Vella, his grandchildren Mark and his wife Karen, Antoine, Daniela and her husband Karl, Andrea and his girlfriend Kim, his great-granddaughter Maya, his brothers and sister, in-laws, Dun Anġ Seychell, and residents, workers and carers of Fondazzjoni Nazareth. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, October 20, at 7.45am, for St Catherine’s parish church, Żejtun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at St Gregory’s Cemetery, Żejtun. No flowers by request but donations to Fondazzjoni Nazareth will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Tomorrow’s 6.30pm Mass at the Immaculate Conception church, Kunċizzjoni, limits of Rabat, will be celebrated for the soul of MIRIAM VASSALLO of Msida. Route: Roman Villa, Bużugrilla, Wied il-Fiddien, Bieb ir-Ruwa and then Kunċizzjoni. All are welcome to attend.
