A 56-year-old motorcyclist from Mosta was seriously injured after a collision with a car in Triq Nutar Zarb in Attard

The driver of the car, a 59-year-old woman from Attard was not hurt, police said.

The accident, at the peak of the rush hour at 5.30pm, caused massive tailbacks, according to those caught in the traffic.
