The Gozo CCU Foundation presented 15 automated external defibrillators to schools in Gozo. Foundation chairman Dame Carmen Bellamy said all schools in Gozo now have this equipment to help save lives. Training to staff and students will be undertaken by George Bonello of Sidroc Services. Dame Bellamy said students must be made aware of this equipment and trained accordingly. On behalf of the foundation she thanked George Mangion of the Institute of Tourism, Gozo Campus in Qala and his staff for hosting the event.
