The Salesian Oratory is hosting an original drama this weekend to mark the 10th anniversary since the foundation of the youth group, the Salesian Worship Team.

The principal character in this play, entitled Sfumat, is Alex, who is never seen on stage, but the audience will learn about him through the words and actions of those closest to him, especially those of his father Charles and his daughter Maria.

The audience will be able to form an opinion about Alex while being presented with a number of conflicts – between concrete facts and abstract elements, between what is apparent and that which is not, and between what is said and what is kept secret.

Sfumat is being staged on Friday and Saturday at the Salesian Theatre in Sliema at 7.30pm. For tickets, visit www.ticketline.com.mt.
