CREMONA. On September 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN, passed away to meet the Risen Lord and his late wife Frida, aged 77. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Lino and his wife Hilda, Sandro and his wife Sharon, and Mariella, his grandchildren Jean, Rebecca, Whitney and Luana, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, September 26, at 8am, for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, St Julians, where Mass will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Elpides nèe Calleja, his children Assistant Commissioner of Police Sandro Gatt and his wife Mary Rose, Sarah and her husband Tony Meli, and Deborah and her husband Franco Agius, his grandchildren Mark and his wife Rhona, Robert, Martin, Jeanine, Beppe, and his great grandchildren Owen and Liam, his brother Dr Maurice Gatt and his wife Nellie, his sister Eileen and her husband Dr Herbert Lenicker, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Monday, September 24, at 1.30pm for St Publius Parish Church, Floriana, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Francis and their children Rosette and her partner Gary, Christine and her husband Nigel, her grandchildren Matthew and Nicole, Steffi, Rachel and Tristan, Nicole and Steve and Lisa, her sister Carmen, her brother Tony and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, September 25, at 8am for Balzan Parish Church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
