Clara Galdies will be presenting an evening of solo piano music at Palazzo de la Salle in Valletta.

The programme includes works by Bach, Mozart, Chopin and Ginastera.

Ms Galdies, 22, has been taking piano lessons since the age of nine, gaining distinctions in Grades 1-8 with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity College London. In 2015 she attained a high distinction in the Associate Diploma in Music Performance and has been awarded prestigious board prizes for achieving the highest marks in Malta.

Presently in her final year at the University of Malta reading law, Ms Galdies will be shortly sitting for her Licentiate Diploma in Music Performance.

The recital is being held today at 7.30pm at Palazzo de la Salle in Valletta. Entrance is free.
