ATTARD. On September 6, in Canada, SAVIOUR, aged 80, went to meet the Risen Christ. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Marthese and her husband Tony Kloster, brothers and sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Mass will be said tomorrow, Monday, September 17, at 3.30pm at Żebbuġ parish church, followed by interment at the Qalb ta’ Ġesu cemetery, Żebbuġ. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

DARMENIA. On September 13, at her brother’s residence in Mosta, ISABELLE, of St Julian’s, aged 70, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by Harold and Marstelle, Mary Anne, widow of her brother Mario, Raymond and Marie, Adrian, nephews and nieces, Lisa and Ryan and their children Zack and Kyra, Josef and Sonia, Sarah and her children Ella and Amy, Karen and Ben and their son Isaac, Jeremy and Nadine, Gabriel and Annie and their daughter Leah, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, September 17, at 8.15am, for St Julian’s parish church where funeral Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest and welcome her to everlasting life.

GATT. On September 15, at Casa Arkati, YVONNE, aged 89, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her brothers Dr Maurice Gatt and his wife Nellie, Joseph and his wife Elpides, her sister Eileen and her husband Dr Herbert Lenicker, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Arkati tomorrow, Monday, September 17 at 7.45am for the Annunciation parish church, Balzan where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

ZAMMIT. On September 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, WILLIAM of Senglea, residing in Fgura, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his loving wife May, née Gerardi, his daughter Mariella and her husband David Dingli, Sarah his much beloved granddaughter, Hortense, widow of his son Joe, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, September 18, at 7.10am, for the Basilica of Our Lady of Victories, Senglea, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 7.45am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ALPS reunion

The Association of Lyceum Past Students (ALPS) will hold its annual reunion on October 13 at the Lyceum, Ħamrun.

Holy Mass will be said at 7pm by Archbishop Emeritus Paul Cremona. Lyceum past students who had taken up priesthood are invited to concelebrate.

This will be followed by a reception (€5 contribution per person). The reunion is open to all ALPS members and Lyceum past students, with a special invitation to those who had started or terminated their studies at the Lyceum in 1968.
