Regardless of how we live our life, holding onto the faith or not, a bad thing, like stealing or killing, does not become good over time, even if the majority does it. The same can be said for ‘sin’.

It is true, indeed, that God loves us all but He detests our sins, all due to our fallen nature. Christ would eat with sinners; it is the sick that need the doctor not the other way round. However, when He meets us at a point in life, He expects us to change and live the way He planned for us, the way that pleases Him.

As for pride, it does the opposite of what God planned. It puts God in the corner while it takes the wheel. And that is not ‘a good religious’ thing to do.

People talk about God without reading His word and His Church’s teachings.

“Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that ‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered’.

“They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved,” Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2357.
