A man was granted bail Friday morning after being charged with hitting someone in Gozo.

The 30-year-old man was also yelling and threatening that he would hit those around him, police said.

The incident took place in Żebbuġ on Thursday.

The man did not plead guilty. Magistrate Joanne Vella Cuschieri ordered the man to pay a deposit of €500 and a personal guarantee of €3,000.
