Siena Jazz 2, an evening of jazz, will take place today from 7.30pm at Emma’s Kitchen, Naxxar Road, San Ġwann.

Following last year’s successful gig, Manuel Pulis will be reuniting with his Siena buddies, the Federico Carnevali Trio, featuring Federico Carnevali on guitar, Francesco Pierotti on double bass and Manuel Pulis on drums.

The trio will also be performing at Offbeat in Merchants Street, Valletta tomorrow and on Friday at 8.30pm.

Federico’s luscious sound and complex rhythms are something which infuse the delicate, precise sound that is jazz. He will be joined by internationally renowned bass player Francesco Pierotti and jazz enthusiast Manuel Pulis.

They will be performing some of their original content, accompanied by a healthy serving of jazz standards to push through the night.
