He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary, his daughters Maria and Dorina, other relatives and friends. GALEA. On September 2, JOSEPH EDWARD, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. Founder Director of Joinwell Limited, he leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Rosemarie, née Fleri-Soler, his sons Philip and Andrew, his daughter Helen and her husband David Valenzia, his grandchildren Julian and his wife Evelien, Francesca, Peter, Lara, Daniel and Sophie, Alexia, Melanie and Louisa, his great-grandson Parsa, his sisters Terry Zammit Tabona and Winnie Cassar, his in-laws Tony and Anne Fleri-Soler, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, September 4, at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Emanuel and his wife Josephine, Wilhelmina, Anne Lorraine and her husband Raymond, Sabrina, her nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. MIFSUD. On September 2, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, LUDGARDA (Tal-Foli), of St Venera, aged 72, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is survived by her siblings, Nina, Ġorġ, Karmenu, Ġanni, Frans, Luċija, Ġiacinta, Emanuel, Ġużi and Miriam and their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for St Venera new parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Mary, his son John and his wife Daniela, his daughter Sonia and her husband Dennis, his grandchildren Julienne and Kayleigh, his sister Rita, widow of Salvinu, his brother Gakbu, and his wife Salvina, residing in Australia, other relatives and friends. On September 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, ARTHUR of Senglea, former vice president, Malta Union of Teachers and president of Hal Far Model Flying Association, widower of Anne, née Grima, aged 81, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Ian and his wife Odilia and Lorraine and her husband Michael Wachtel, his granddaughters Jessica, Nicole, Kathleen, Lily and Alexandra, his brother Alfred and his wife Beatrice, his brother-in-law Saviour and his wife Carmen Grima, Mary Grima, widow of his brother-in-law Carmelo, numerous relatives and friends, especially the committee and members of the Hal Far Model Flying Association. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, September 5, at 7am for the Nativity of the Virgin Mary (Marija Bambina) Basilica, Senglea, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 7.45am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. POMROY. On September 2, WILLIAM CHARLES, of Żejtun, aged 86. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Nina, his children William and his wife Miriam, Daniel and his wife Catherine and Catherine and her husband Joe Zahra, his grandchildren Nadine and her husband Deger Bilgin, Matthew, Adrienne, Davinia, Abigail and her husband Darren Fenech, Benjamin and his wife Larissa, Clint and his wife Marica and James and his wife Wendy, his great grandchildren Kaya, Emre, Leila, Aaliyah and baby Dyllan, his brother Paul and his wife Frances, of Australia, his sister Jane, wife of Joe  Carabott, of America, other relatives and many friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, September 4, at 2.30pm for St Catherine’s parish church, Żejtun where Mass will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at Żejtun cemetery. PORTELLI. On September 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARYROSE, sive Maria, aged 88, of Valletta, residing at Holy Family Home, Naxxar, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Lawrence, her sister Connie, her nephews and nieces Miriam, Magda, Rosette, Joyce, Natalie, Anna, Elizabeth, Patricia, Paul, Paul, John, Rita, Maria, Anna and Josette, their respective spouses, her great nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Monday, September 3, at 1.30pm for the Mary Immaculate, Mother of the Church, parish church Ibraġġ where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Holy Family Home for the care that she was given during her stay.
