Good morning, the following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers.

The Sunday Times of Malta reports that Unesco has asked the Maltese authorities to look into quarrying activity in Siġġiewi, very close to the ancient Mnajdra and Ħagar Qim temples. The newspaper also reports that there has been a sharp rise in online hate speech. 

MaltaToday reports that the prime minister has handed Cyrus Engerer a new EU advisory role contract. It also reports that its latest trust barometer shows Joseph Muscat leading Adrian Delia by 36 points. The newspaper carries a survey where it asks if the Maltese are fed up of 'yells and bells'.

The Malta Independent on Sunday says the consumer watchdog is considering action over alleged timeshare fraud. It also says Tal-Balal road is to be widened to four lanes, instead of three as originally planned. 

KullĦadd reports how the number of people dependant on social services is continuing to decrease. It also says Dione Borg's candidacy for the European Parliament elections is another move by the PN against MEP Devid Casa. In its main story, the newspaper highlights how a young woman overcame two rapes and is looking to the future with hope.

It-Torċa discusses the consequences which delays in the EU Budget would cause. The delay fears stem from Italian threats to withhold funds over the immigration issue.  

Il-Mument says the major fires in two Wastserv plants show secrecy in the way the government is running the entity.
