Gambin play mainly as a winger and joins the club from Luton Town, where he originally signed in 2017. He has made one appearance for the Bedfordshire side this season, a 1-0 defeat to West Bromwich Albion in the Carabao Cup.

He has played 17 games for Malta since his debut in 2016, including against England and Scotland in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

"Luke is a player we have been watching for some time and I am really happy to have been able to get this one over the line. He is a quality player with international experience, and is a fantastic addition to the team," Director of Football Selim Gaygusuz said to Crawley's official website.
