We are told that the Department of Information did not take kindly a statement by the Parliamentary Secretary for Active Ageing (whatever that means), Anthony Agius Decelis.

I think the DOI is aware it is possible the parliamentary secretary took quite some time to come up with his statement and, therefore, the DOI should have known that he was told to issue his absurd statement.

A parliamentary secretary should know that the DOI publishes what it is told to print in The Malta Government Gazette. But the gravest mistake he made was that he believed the people would believe such a silly statement.
