Schembri played one hour of the return leg on Thursday and said that it was a nice feeling to be playing in the Europa League group stages for another year.

"It's a great feeling for us players to have attained such success," Schembri said.

"We have already a taste of playing in the Europa League having completed this objective last season.

"All the players and the technical staff made a lot of sacrifices this year to reach this goal, which was not as easy as we started from the first qualifying round, but now we look forward to do better than last season."

The draw of the Europa League group stages will be held on Friday.
