This month the Malta Climbing Club will be heading out to Għar Lapsi for another night climbing event at Twin Caves: the first two caves that can be seen from Għar Lapsi car park.

These two caves (and the walls on either side of them) bask in the sun most of the day, so are seldom visited in summer.

Participants are encouraged to bring their head torch and any large lamps which they may have to help them light up the night.

The participants will meet at the caves at 6.30pm today and climb for a few hours.

Beginners (even people who have never climbed before) are encouraged to join this event. The club will provide all the equipment necessary.

Use of club equipment will be free for members, whereas non-members will be asked to either join the club (€15 for a calendar year) or make a €5 donation to the club’s bolt fund.
