Humans have, at long last, become aware of Mother Nature’s call for urgent measures to be undertaken to preserve the environment from further destruction, which is of vital importance for our very existence.
On the list of ‘to do away with’, which most of us find very convenient, are paper rolls we use daily to wipe kitchen surfaces or after a spill. They are actually poisoning the environment.
Chemicals are used in producing that white paper roll, trees are felled, the environment destroyed and more waste ends up in landfills, emitting more methane gas into our atmosphere… and that is not a good thing for us or the planet. So, we will have to do away with it.
What next?
I would like to commend the energetic Environment Minister Josè Herrera for his super efforts to tackle this problem.
