Allow me to refer to the article ‘Thorn in your collective side’, by David Griscti and Peter Mercieca (August 6) wherein they claimed that Adrian Delia’s strategy in the Nationalist Party parliamentary group was only a “failed strategy”.

Apparently, both correspondents missed an article titled ‘Rushing recklessly to judgement’, by former Nationalist MP Michael Falzon (MaltaToday, July 29) which said, with regard to the Egrant magisterial inquiry: “I have no doubt that Simon Busuttil’s honourable intentions were correct and honest but the way he foolishly and recklessly rushed to judgement made him one of the worst political leaders in Maltese political history...”

Any further comment would be superfluous.
