The 11th edition of the Summer Chinese Film Festival continues today with the screening of the animated feature film Bunny Crisis in Birżebbuġa.

The 90-minute film certified U, is about a bull named Ouou who receives a present from his dad for his birthday – a trip to Rocky Town’s amusement park with his friends. Everyone cheerfully arrives at the town but they encounter a fight between good and evil. With help from others, Ouou defeats the vicious mayor and regains a magical power gem that is reputed to fulfil every dream and controls the energy of the town, allowing the population to revive.
The Chinese film festival, which runs until August 27, will see a series of outdoor screenings in various towns in Malta and Gozo. This year’s edition is being organised by the China Cultural Centre in Malta in collaboration with the local councils of Birżebbuġa, Santa Luċija and Qrendi, and the Gozo Ministry’s Culture Unit.
