A 77-year-old man was seriously hurt after the scooter he was driving was involved in a collision in Kirkop.

The accident took place at Triq L-Industrija at 9.30am.

Police said a car driven by a 38-year-old woman from Kirkop was involved in the accident.

Investigations are still under way.
