Aaron Pisani loves his Alfas so much he eats with them and will soon be sleeping in one of them.
The 35-year-old has 13 Alfa Romeos and a half. He has turned the latter into a grill and tows it behind his Alfa 156.
Mr Pisani is now transforming a station wagon into a camper to continue the theme.
“I could drive the Alfa to a particular spot, grill some food on another Alfa, sleep in yet another Alfa… and dream about Alfa,” he jokes.
Mr Pisani first set his eyes on an Alfa when, aged 11, he would admire his late neighbour, Samuel Bugeja, caring for his own Alfa Giulia. He would sit on the doorstep and look on, playing with his remote-controlled toy car.
When he turned 18, his parents gifted him his first Alfa, a black model 147. His collection continued to grow, with a couple earning a nickname along the way, such as Il-baby, Il-kbira (Great) and Il-mikxufa (Convertible).
His car collection includes some classics, such as some Fiats and a 1962 Vauxhall Victor, owned by his late grandfather, Charles Grech.
He has named his own children after cars
Some of the Alfas he has bought have required maintenance, and Mr Pisani, a marble mason by profession, cares for them with the help of some friends.

Recently, he came across an Alfa about to be scrapped and he put to the test an idea that had been brewing for a while in his mind. It took him more than three months to complete the AlfaGrill project, which included cutting off the car’s bonnet and transforming it into a gas-powered grill that rises at the click of a button.
His love of the vehicles continues with his family: he has named his own children after cars. His five-year-old son, Bentley Ron, also zooms around in his own Alfa model, albeit of the go-cart kind. His daughter, Shelby Ann, is still too young to decide on her favourite make.
