The Times of Malta leads with news of Monday’s raid of a cow farm which was illegally housing more than 100 people, with the newspaper reporting that immigrants ended up locked out without documents or money.

The newspaper also reports from the law courts, where prosecutors said that a former porn actor had exposed himself to two children in a Qormi supermarket.

The Malta Independent reports on the Central Link road project, with an Attard residents’ group describing a meeting with Transport Minister Ian Borg as “positive”. Its front page splashes with a large photo of the cow farm-turned-migrant-residence, with the caption “inhumane”.

In-Nazzjon echoes that theme, with a large photo of migrants carrying their belongings away from the Qormi cow farm and the headline “Farm with 110 migrants in inhumane conditions”.

The newspaper also gives front page space to a court report about the man accused of killing three storks being denied bail, and a report that 114 migrants were rescued at sea by the AFM.

L-Orizzont writes that the government is investing in residential care for the elderly and that the church must invest more in this sector.

The newspaper also reports on a deal reached between the General Workers’ Union and hospital workers about parking at Mater Dei Hospital, and writes that minister Ian Borg is unveiling a series of measures to reduce the number of cars on local roads.
