DE MAUNY WAINWRIGHT – ELIZABETH MARY LOIS, née Bower. Died peacefully at Eastbourne District General Hospital on August 3, 2018, aged 85, after an illness bravely borne. Dearly loved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

RUGGIER. On August 8, at her residence in Żabbar, ANNA, former employee Allied Newspapers Ltd, aged 79, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Madre Tarcisia of the Ursuline Sisters, her brothers Alfred of Canada and Edgar, nephews and nieces, grand nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, August 11, at 7.45am for Our Lady of Divine Grace Sanctuary, Żabbar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, or the Ursuline Crèche, Guardamangia, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
SCICLUNA. On August 6, at Gozo General Hospital, MARIA, née Rapa, of Victoria Gozo, aged 67, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Paul, her sons Ian and his wife Sabrina, Reuben and his fiancée Simone, her mother Carmela, her brothers and sisters, Joe and Giovanna, Yvonne and George, Lina and Loreto, Frances and Tony, Monica and Joe, Silvio and Natasha, Renato and Rose, Deborah and Patrick and Alfio; her mother-in-law Grazia, her sisters-in-law Rosaline, Maria, and Marisa, widow of Laurie, her beloved in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Gozo General Hospital today, Thursday, August 9, at 4.30pm, for the Cathedral church, Victoria, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 5pm, followed by interment at St Mary’s Cemetery, Xewkija. No flowers by request but donations to L-Istitut tal-Familja (Cana), Victoria, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
