Birdlife Malta has currently a record number of Greater Flamingos at its Għadira Nature Reserve in Mellieħa.

This is, in fact, the first time in Birdlife Malta’s history that they have 10 flamingos at one go.

Although Birdlife Malta’s reserves are closed for the summer break, they have decided to give the opportunity to the public to enjoy this unique spectacle today.

One can visit the reserve today between 8 and 11am. Entry is free of charge and no booking is needed. One can watch the latest footage of the flamingos at Għadira on https://youtu.be/zd7MQKGYpAA .
