We often hear about the manner in which pollution is caused but seldom do we hear about the poisonous gasses we emit each time we slam our foot on the brakes and listen to the screeching of the tyres. Poisonous particles are released, small enough to form a cloud of tiny metal particles that wreak havoc to our respiratory system. To add insult to injury, we often come across vehicles that evidently have both their inlet and exhaust manifolds damaged.

If you happen to be walking on the pavement near a heavy vehicle, or even a car, you will risk lung cancer. In certain countries, especially in Japan, people often cover their nose and mouth with a mask to prevent being poisoned.
