In the run-up to the feast of St Dominic, being celebrated on Sunday, The King’s Own Philharmonic Society is today presenting a musical evening with the participation of violinist George Curmi, il-Pusé and singer Amber Bondin.

The orchestra will execute nine works by various composers under the baton of John Galea. The same band will play popular marches along the streets of Valletta on Saturday morning and play again in the evening during a Venetian Night near the Parliament building at City Gate.

Tonight’s concert will take place near St Dominic parish church in Merchants Street, Valletta, at 8.30pm. Saturday’s traditional march will start from near the church at 9.30am, while the evening march will commence from near the Parliament building at 8.30pm.
