ATTARD. On June 22, at his residence in Naxxar, JOSEPH (former public officer and former president of the NGO Society of St Vincent de Paul), of Naxxar, aged 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Vivienne, daughter Christine, sons Malcolm and Patrick and their families, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Tuesday, June 26 at 8.45 am at the Our Lady of Victories parish church, Naxxar, followed by interment at St George’s parish cemetery, Naxxar. Donations to the Voluntary Organisation Society of St Vincent de Paul and the Malta Hospice Movement would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. Special thanks to the consultant and staff at the Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, Mater Dei Hospital, Malta Hospice Movement and Healthmark for the exceptional loving care given to him over the past years.
VELLA. On June 22, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre MARYSE née Grech aged 71, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be deeply missed by her husband Joseph, her children Noel and his wife Roberta, Paula and her husband Robert and her beloved grandchildren Katia, Max, Daniel and Jeremy, her brothers, sister, in laws and all their families. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, June 25 for the Immaculate Conception parish in Ta’ l-Ibraġ where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am followed by interment in thefamily grave at the Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta will be greatly appreciated.Lord, grant her eternal rest.
