As part of the Erasmus Plus project Get Addicted to Sports Values, TDM 2000 Malta is today organising The Sport Village – an afternoon full of fun activities and sports.

The event also forms part of this year’s TDM Hand’s On collaboration with Special Olympics Malta with the initiative to raise funds for the athletes competing in the Special Olympics Summer Word Games in March 2019 in Abu Dhabi while promoting inclusion using sport as a tool.

The event will present different disciplines of sports – football, tennis, athletics, cycling, rugby, among others – and fun activities for young children and youths.

The University of Malta Rowing Club and the Malta Self-Defence Academy will demonstrateaspects of their disciplines while Street Elements, Hip Hop Artists will organise hip hop and breakdance workshops.

The sports village is being held today from 4 to 8pm at St Edward’s College in Vittoriosa. For more information, visit www.sportvalues.eu/.
