The following are the top stories in national newspapers today.

Times of Malta says Parliament voted 34-27 to approve the controversial IVF reform on Tuesday, with all government members present voting in favour and the Opposition standing unanimously against. In another story, it says fewer people believe in the independence of Malta’s courts and judiciary with only just under half the population regarding the justice system’s autonomy as “very or fairly good”.

The Malta Independent says Finance Minister Edward Scicluna on Tuesday expressed his trust in Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit personnel, stating that he did not believe they would willfully do anything wrong.
