The scale of the alleged bribery involving visas given to Libyans was the main story in the Times of Malta, with as many as 88,000 believed to have been issued. It also carries a story confirming that there is no provision in the Constitution of Malta which could be used to stop the new IVF Bill from coming into force.
The Malta Independent also reports on the IVF bill, which will be subjected to the third and final vote in parliament on Tuesday. However, its main story is that the Central Link road project has been amended, with new plans submitted to the Planning Authority which would reduce the number of trees that have to be uprooted.
In-Nazzjon mirrors the Times of Malta, with the Libyan visa scandal and the IVF vote on its front page.
L-Orizzont goes for something different and analyses the mood at the pro-hunting lobby and the pro-bird activists prior to the ruling on Thursday at the European Court of Justice on trapping. It also features a report on the way in which Opposition leader Adrian Delia sought help from his in-laws which eased his debt pressure.
