The Planning Authority has relocated its staff in Gozo as it waits for a development permit - issued by the PA itself - to demolish and rebuild its office in Victoria.

Infrastructure Minister Ian Borg told Nationalist MP Chris Said in reply to a parliamentary question that the development application was submitted on November 17 last year.

The staff were relocated to temporary offices on March 5. The PA is paying €3,000 monthly for its temporary office.

The rent is for 18 months which may be extended by a year under the same terms.

The temporary offices were chosen after a public call for offers.
