Police in France have foiled a jihadi attack on a swingers club, the interior ministry said.
Authorities thwarted the attack on May 13 after the arrest of a man who was "known for his radicalisation" in the town of Chateauroux in the Loire region, the ministry said.
He was handed preliminary charges linked to the foiled attack and imprisoned.
An improvised explosive device was found in the home of the man, who confessed to wanting to use it against a swingers club.
Authorities have not publicly identified the man, who was born in 1980.
The ministry said it brings to five the number of attacks thwarted in France since the beginning of the year.
