BARTOLI. On Thursday, June 14, at her residence in Madliena, JOAN, née Formosa, widow of Edward, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved children, after a brief illness borne with grace. She leaves to mourn her great loss her daughter Daniela and her companion Simon, her sons Peter and his wife Katya, Edward and his wife Angela, Gordon and his wife Chantal and Roderick and his partner Emma, her treasured grandchildren Amy and her father John, Alexander, Giulia, Saskia, Marcus, Andrew, Sophia, Ilona, Kira and Matthew, her brother and sisters Joseph, Marlene and Anne and their spouses and her in-laws, nephews and nieces. The funeral cortège leaves St James Hospital, Sliema, tomorrow, Saturday, June 16, and proceeds to Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, for the celebration of Mass præsente cadavere at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. On June 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPHINE, née Bugeja, of Paola, widow of Henry sive Harry, aged 98, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Marie and her husband Vincent Farrugia, her son Michael, her daughter Gemma and her husband Lucio Napolitani, her daughter Carmen and her husband John Donovan, her beloved grandchildren Marie-Klaire, Jan-Karl, Lara, Sara, Michael, Matthew, Benjamin and John and their respective spouses and partners, her great-grandchildren Falco and Lupo, her in-laws, relatives and friends. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Giulia and her husband Ivan Brincat, Martine and her partner Xavier Gibert, their father Edward, her beloved grandchildren Lukas, Elizabeth and Alexander, her brothers Joe and his wife Valda, Richard and his wife Catherine and her brother-in-law Joe Micallef, her mother-in-law Lina Pellegrini Petit, her beloved sisters-in-law Myriam, Cecilia, Lucienne, Ariane and their families, numerous nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends, especially Frida and Maryann. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Friday, June 15, at 9am for the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, where Mass to celebrate her life will be said at 9.45am, followed by interment at Naxxar cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons, Martin and his wife Deborah and Marco and his wife Simone, his grandchildren Andrew, Paul, Alexandra and Nicola, his sister Jessie and her husband Manuel Said, his nephews and nieces other relatives and friends. Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit, You make me see everything in Your divine light. You show me the way to reach my ideal. You give the divine gift to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me. You are with me in all instances of my life. In this short dialogue I want to thank You for everything. I confirm once more that I want never to be separated from You, no matter how great the temptations and material de-sires may be. I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory.
