Charles Dalli has been appointed CEO of Public Broadcasting Services.

Mr Dalli, an engineer, has held several positions at PBS including head of operations and deputy CEO. He has been acting CEO for the past eight months.

In a meeting on Wednesday, the board of directors, after evaluating Mr Dalli’s work in the past months, decided to appoint him CEO with immediate effect.

He replaces former CEO John Bundy, who had been sacked by the board of directors in November for failing to follow key procurement procedures.
