CUTAJAR. On June 10, at her residence in Gudja, VIOLET, widow of Joe, aged 74, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons David and his wife Simone and Patrick and his wife Simone, her grandchildren Adele, Nicholas and Stella, her brothers Graham, widower of Angie, Fr Trevor, and her sister Beatrice, their families, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves her residence tomorrow, Wednesday, June 13, at 2.30pm for St Mary’s parish church, Gudja, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Gudja cemetery. EBEJER. On June 11, at Mater Dei Hospital, LINA of Balzan, widow of Ġeraldu, passed away peacefully at the age of 83, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss, her sisters Anna Vidal, Sr Vicky Grima of the Good Shepherd Sisters, Christie and her husband Tony Buhagiar, Carmen, widow of her brother Pawlu, Mary, widow of her brother Joseph, Gudith, widow of her brother Charles, Ġuża, widow of her brother-in-law Charlie, nephews and nieces, her great nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortége leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Tuesday, June 12, at 2.30pm, for Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church (Marija Annunzjata) parish church, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Balzan cemetery. GALEA. On June 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY of Gżira, aged 62, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his daughters Roxanne and her husband Danny Di Nova, and Ramona and her husband Shane Cameron, his partner Simone Zammit, his mother Helen Galea, his brothers Paul and Jesmond and their respective families, his beloved grandchildren Jude, Bodi and Mavis, and also Jane and her husband Graham Morrison, together with numerous friends and relatives, both in Malta and Canada. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GRECH. On June 10, JOSEPHINE of Victoria, Gozo, widow of Anthony, aged 75, passed away suddenly comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Louis, Anton, Mary Grace, Martin and Georgine and their respective spouses, her grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Gozo General Hospital on Thursday, June 14, at 4.15pm for St George’s Basilica, Victoria, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 5pm, followed by interment at St Mary Cemetery, Xewkija. No flowers by request but donations to Catholic Action, Gozo, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

SKOK. On June 8, HERBERT RAINER, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness, at the age of 65. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife Netty, his children Barbara and Ulrich, his stepdaughters Jessica, Rebecca and Janica and his grandchildren Ruby and Sofia, his mother-in-law Inge, his brother Walter and his wife Hanni, his nephews Stephan and Bernhard, other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held in Salzburg, Austria. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

VASSALLO. On June 11, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, residing at Zammit Clapp Home, St Julians, aged 71, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his brothers Noel and his wife Beatrix, Victor and his wife Josephine, and sister Carmen and her husband Robert, residing in United States of America, his aunt Yolanda Zammit, nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, June 13, at 9.30am, for the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares Foundation, Mater Dei Hospital, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
