Floriana have reached an agreement to sign Bosnian attacking player Goran Galesic.

The Greens are looking to build a competitive squad for the upcoming season as they look to mount a serious challenge for the main domestic honours.

Club president Riccardo Gaucci has been chasing Galesic's signature for a few years but he has finally got his man after he wrapped up a deal for the player.

Galesic, who represented his country at U-19 and U-21 level, had spells with Gorica, Koper, Hajduk Split before moving to Bulgaria to join Botev Plovdiv.

He also had a spell in Moldova with Sheriff Tiraspol.

The five foot nine Galesic is expected to arrive in Malta on Friday to finalise his transfer to the Greens and become their third signing of the close season.

Floriana have already Malta wing back Clayton Failla, who arrived from Hibernians, and striker Terrence Vella, who last season was on the books of Senglea Athletic.
