RockAstra, the open-air live music spectacle organised by La Stella Philharmonic Society every year, returns tomorrow as part of the Victoria Day celebrations organised by the local council. As in previous editions, the La Stella Band will be under the baton of Sigmund Mifsud and top Maltese and Gozitan artists, including Chris Grech, Ludwig Galea, Remy Azzopardi, Mikaela and Gabriella Azzopardi, will be performing. The programme includes music from the repertoire of Pink Floyd, Beatles, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Freddie Mercury, John Lennon and Bon Jovi, among others.

The Astra Theatre children’s choir, Piccole Stelle, directed by Sylvana Cini,  will also take part.

The concert is being held at the Astra Theatre, in Republic Street, Victoria, tomorrow at 9pm. Entrance is free. More information may be obtained online at www.lastella.com.mt or by calling on 2155 0985. RockAstra is part of the V18 events.
