A US dermatologist who filmed herself singing and dancing during surgery and then uploaded the videos to YouTube is facing a series of lawsuits from angry patients.

Nearly 100 women have come forward to say they suffered complications after going under the knife as patients of Windell Boutte, after a lawyer representing three women filed a lawsuit against the dermatologist.

Dr Boutte uploaded more than 20 videos to YouTube in which she sang and danced while patients lay unconscious on her surgeon’s table.

In one video, she sings along to OT Genesis song Cut It while making an incision in a patient; in another, she leans over an unconscious patient, whose buttocks are partially exposed, and raps “My patients are bad and boujee. Building up fat in the booty.”

A couple of the doctor's medical assistants can be seen dancing along in at least one of the videos.

Dr Boutte has since deleted the videos form her YouTube channel. She has declined to comment to the media and continues to practise medicine.
