Spazju Kreattiv, in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy, is showing the 2015 Spanish animated film Atrapa La Bandiera (Capture the Flag) this weekend.

The plot follows Richard Carson, an ambitious multimillionaire who wants to take over the terrestrial satellite and exploit the source of clean energy of the future, the Helio 3.

To achieve this, he must erase from history all traces of the Apollo XI astronauts and their first steps on the moon. The only one who can stop Carson is a 12-year-old surfer, Mike.

With the help of his friends, the nerdy Marty, the future journalist Amy and a small lizard with aspirations to become Godzilla, they travel to the moon in the company of Mike’s grandfather, a retired astronaut who has been estranged from his family for years.

The film is showing at St James Cavalier in Valletta today at 3pm. For tickets, visit www.kreattivita.org or call 2122 3200.
