Malta’s balmy weather was a bit too hot to handle for a couple of Valletta motorists on Friday, with an argument behind the wheel ending up in a full-blown fracas.

The women, one 37 and the other 64 years old, reportedly got into a slanging match after one accused the other of double parking and blocking the road by Mattia Preti square.

With tempers flaring, the two decided to resolve things through physical violence, turning a road rage incident into a group scuffle in broad daylight.

Video filmed by a passer-by showed the two protagonists drag each other to the ground as three other women seek to intervene.

As they let the kicks and fists fly, a man and woman who noticed what is going on rushed to intervene and break up the fight.

A police spokesperson told Times of Malta that nobody had suffered major injuries in the fight. The incident was reported at around 12.20pm, they added.
