Steve Hili’s adult panto is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a raunchier, rowdier and funnier show.

A heady mix of naughty humour, political satire, audience interaction and in-your-face silliness, Sleeping Beauty tells the tale of Little Konrad, a sweet innocent little boy who realises that he has got a big, big problem.

Together with his mother, an out-of-control and insatiable dame, Konrad sets out on a quest to overcome his predicament. Little do they know they are stepping right into the middle of the dastardliest plot of all time led by the nastiest villain – the malevolent (but fashion-conscious) Evil Carina. Carina is dead-set on taking over the kingdom and has put a spell on the good King’s daughter. Only Konrad and the dame can save her.

The cast includes Taryn Mamo Cefai, Naomi Knight, Gwyillm Bugeja, Joe Depasquale, Undine LaVerve and Sean Briffa.

Sleeping Beauty, suitable for people aged over 18, is showing at St James Cavalier today, tomorrow and on Sunday and on June 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 at 8pm. For tickets, visit www.kreattivita.org.
