The Malta Financial Services Authority has taken yet another step against Julie Meyer’s companies in Malta, removing her fund from the list of Notified Alternative Investment Funds because of “serious deficiencies in its governance structures”.

The action applies to Ariadne Capital ECO2 VC Limited Partnership and its four sub-funds: 2SQRS Venture Fund, ECO2 Fund, JGV Tamar Fund, and Sustainable Aviation Fund.

The MFSA said that the fund had not compliance officer since January 3, and no money laundering function in place since November 2, 2017.

The MFSA’s decision may be appealed before the Financial Services Tribunal within 30 days from the date of the MFSA’s communication.

The authority suspended the licence of Ariadne Capital Malta Ltdon May 11, with immediate effect, for breach of licence conditions.
