Floriana announced their second signing after acquiring forward Terence Vella on a one-year deal ahead of the 2018/2019 campaign.

The Greens want to bolster their offensive line following the departure of goalscorer Mario Fontanella, who joined rivals Valletta earlier this month.

The 28-year old featured 24 times for Senglea Athletic, whom he captained as well, scoring five goals during the past season.

Vella has a vast experience in the Premier League having been involved in 138 games, scoring 24 goals throughout his experiences at Mosta, Qormi, Birkirkara, Naxxar Lions, Ħamrun Spartans and Senglea Athletic.

He has also earned 11 caps with the national team, making his debut in 2012 in a 1-0 win over Liechtenstein.

Earlier this week, Nicolas Chiesa's side brought in former Hibernians player Clayton Failla on a two-year contract.
