GATT. On May 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALFRED (former assistant head of school), residing in Mosta, aged 73, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Grace, his daughter Gabrielle and her husband Alexander and his grandsons Matthew and Luke, his son Albert and his wife Clare, their relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow, Wednesday, May 30 at 3.30pm at Mosta parish church, followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. Special thanks to the staff of Boffa Hospital and MDH Surgery Wards 1 and 2 for the exceptional care given to him during the final months of his illness.
TANTI. On May 27, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, KARMENA, née Grech, of Mosta, aged 79, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Joe and his wife Jane and Emily and her husband James, her grandchildren Charmain and Sara and her boyfriend Luke, her brother, sister, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortége leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Tuesday, May 29, at 2.45pm for St Mary’s parish church, Mosta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
ZAMMIT. On Monday, May 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAUL, widower of Helen, of Naxxar, aged 93, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children, Michael and his wife Lisa Yvonne, Maria and her husband Alan, Rose and her husband Jeffrey, Rita and her husband Paul, Joseph and his wife Josette, Elena, his 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, June 1, at 1pm for the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 1.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Naxxar cemetery.
