Transport Malta will carry out asphalting works along Selmun Hill from Monday at 8pm to Tuesday at 5am.

During works, the road will be closed to traffic in both directions while traffic will be diverted through il-Miżieb and Manikata. The road remains accessible to public transport, in both directions, until 9pm. Selmun Hill will be accessible throughout the day.

The urgent infrastructural interventions on the bridge of Triq il-Mistra, further north of this same route, is ongoing.

Next in line are further asphalting works on other parts of this route, including part of Selmun Hill. By summer the rebuilding of Triq Louis Wettinger, known as Mellieħa Bypass, which joins this main route towards the Northern part of Malta and the main link for Gozo, should be completed, the authority said.
